genHkids’ Grow Your Grub program gets kids excited about eating produce that they have had a hand in growing!   Lessons are conducted at schools and community centers in support of a garden or container garden.

These programs are designed to help students discover how to grow and eat a variety of nutritious foods.  Topics covered include:

• Gardening basics — planting, weeding, watering, mulching & pest/disease management
• Garden sciences
• Using plants in the kitchen
• Educational documentaries
• Garden arts and crafts
• Harvest parties
